Well, Hubby-poo and I came out at work today. We both made a point to tell our bosses before either of us told anybody else. Of course, we both had weird anxiety abut telling people. And of course, that anxiety was completely unfounded. Everybody was supportive. What was weird, though, was having work people hug me. Work friends were fine. But it was the general colleagues and the (gasp) superiors that were weird. I guess it's no big deal. It's a time for celebration, after all. But still. Weird.
There is a round of prenatal yoga that starts up at a local hospital in February. I plan to sign up for it. It's about the same price as regular yoga, so I figure it's a pretty good deal, all things considered. I really need to pick a hospital. Maybe we'll start doing some tours in the next few weeks. I could always take classes at one and deliver at another, but that just seems silly. Eh, I'll figure it out. At least now I can start picking the brains of the other pregnant ladies at work. I will benefit from their leg work :-).

I'm starting prenatal yoga (6-week workshop) mid-February too. It's my b-day gift from Jim. As for hospital, does your OB/GYN deliver at more than one hospital? With Julianne, there was only one local to me that I could deliver at and same with this pregnancy. Must be nice if you can choose!
Congrats again, pretty girl. I'm so happy for you and Mike =)
She delivers at two, and both are fairly close (one 5 miles, one about 10). In the next few weeks we're going to check them both out.
Best way to pick a hospital is to talk to people who've had babies at both, and also find out what "level" care they do. "level 3 ICU, etc". You could ask what hospital do they send your baby to if they need a higher level care. If one hospital gives the name of the other one, then you know one is better equipped for emergencies.
