Last Friday we had the anatomy ultrasound. Sadly, the new ultrasound tech doesn't know how to put the pictures onto a memory stick or CD, so I don't have any to put up. But no matter - we found out that Pecan is a BOY!
Of course, this comes as no surprise. I knew I was having a boy. This pregnancy was just so different, and my cravings were so, well, masculine. It just couldn't be a girl.
They did move his due date to January 28 - his daddy's birthday! Of course, a due date is just a due date, and not set in stone. So I will still tell people January 29 in conversation. It would be funny if he and Mike have the same birthday, though.
Pregnancy is so strange. I am having pretty serious cravings. Weird, serious cravings. This past week it has been cottage cheese. And that's very odd, because in real life I HATE cottage cheese. It's bland and has an awful texture. But in this particular pregnancy, I love it. At least right now. What is really odd about that is that my MIL craved cottage cheese while pregnant with Mike. So I suspect that we have a mini-Mike on the way :-).
